Oldest horse racing trophies

Horse racing championships not only raises the pride for the owner, trainer, and jockey of their horses, but also their prestigious trophies. Some of them are Woodlawn Vase for the winner of Preakness Stake, Man o’ War Cup for Travers Stakes, and Annapolis Subscription Plate for Dixie Stakes. These three are known as the oldest trophies in North America.

While Woodlawn Vase and Annapolis Subscription Plate were made of sterling silver, the Man o’ War Cup was made of solid gold.
