Author: Kevlar is a very strong woven fabric called Aramid, which are chemically related to nylon. This substance which is already very strong and durable, then in a pattern similar to small spider webs all closed for strength and durability of fabric. Kevlar aramid fibers and are resistant to abrasion and heat, and no melting point.

Several varieties of Kevlar are available:
- K-29 Kevlar – used in industrial applications such as cables, asbestos replacement, brake linings, and body armor / vehicle.
- Kevlar K49 – module cables used in high.
- Kevlar K100 – color version of Kevlar.
- Kevlar K119 – high elongation, flexible and durable.
- Kevlar K129 – greater resistance to ballistic applications.
- Kevlar AP – has a strength greater than 15% K-29.
- Kevlar XP – KM2 lightweight resin and fiber combinations.
- Kevlar KM2 – greater resistance to ballistic armor applications.
Kevlar fabric‘s properties make it a high demand item. Recently kevlar an integral part of the shelters in areas of high occurrence of tornadoes was made.
